Peter Ward is co-founder and co-CEO of WAYN.com (Where Are You Now?). With over 15 million members across 193 countries WAYN is the world’s leading location-based social network, with a focus on travel and lifestyle. Having raised a £10K initial investment from Steve Pankhurst (co-Founder of Friends Reunited) in 2003, Peter - along with co-founders Jerome Touze and Mike Lines - grew the business on a strictly part-time basis before going full-time when WAYN reached one million members in October 2005.

Since 2006 the company has raised $11M Series A funding in November 2006 and now has over 5m unique monthly visitors. As an individual Peter was recognized by the Sunday Times as one of the media industry’s ‘Top 40 Under 40’; and by the Daily Telegraph in the ‘Top 100 In Technology’. Prior to WAYN, Peter’s experience includes three years in management consulting for Accenture; he won scholarships to attend entrepreneurship programs at MIT Sloan School of Business in Boston; London Business School and Cambridge University having already graduated in Economics & Business Finance from Brunel University in 2001 and worked in New York for PWC. Peter has a passion for entrepreneurship, travel and meeting new people.
